Winter Chictopian Look – just another option

For the contest sponsored by Chictopia and Kmart, I have to choose an outfit suited for the winter season. I don’t know exactly what are they looking for, but the perspective of winning this price makes me shoot my daily outfits and post it here and there, to the website. Well, not yet, I’ll do it around 30th of December, and all January long it will be voted (or not). But the participation is the most important (and your feed-back), not the winning, even if a trip to San Francisco and free shopping is not a bad idea, hihi. Well, I’m sure there will be a lot of better outfits and with more fans, but that’s the game 🙂  So, new pictures, taken on 20th December in Madrid – Plaza Sevilla.

The last picture is from a bus, without coat, but I added it only for you to see me in a better light (unfortunately I was unable to find a better spotlight to take the pictures, I worked a lot to correct the light but…I didn’t wanted to alter too much the colors)

And because someone (NOname, hihi) asked me about some music in my blog, check this out (the Illuminati song :P):

Patatus

This is the name of the place you should visit in Madrid if you’re addicted to potatoes (french fries) . They have a large variety of salsas that you can put over your french fries (real potatoes, not like the fake bullshit they serve you on fast-food type restaurants as potatoes), you can order also pork (cerdo) or beef (ternera) steak, scrambled eggs (tortilla), and a lot of other interesting (and tasty) mixtures of meat, onion, garlic and even sea fruits. Everything combined with salsa. You have a nice variety of drinks also (beer, wine, liquor, whiskey, rum). But the best thing at Patatus is the nice atmosphere, friendly stuff and, of course, potatoes… And a nice surprise (for me, at least): they serve Mort Subite, a sweet Belgian beer made of first quality unrefined yellow beer and juice of strawberries or cherries. Mmmm, it’s the only beer I like.

Do you remember the summer ?! Second episode.

New old summer pictures from Madrid – there will be some from outside of Madrid in the future – from streets, parks and other places. Those pictures were never posted on my blog because the lack of time during the summer, but now, when it’s so cold and windy and rainy outside, I have more time to review and post those photos. Hope you will enjoy this “trip” through the summer.

Do you remember the summer ?! First episode.

“The endless summer!!”, was Scooter shouting in a techno dance hit few years ago and I was happily jumping on his refrain. Now I remember the summer days when I used to go to some parks and gardens and took pictures… I really miss those hot summer moments…

Mercado de San Miguel

At the end of the year, I browsed through my old photos and found some that were never published on my blog. That’s only because of the lack of time I had in the summer. Oh, the summer, the magic season… it’s so nice to stay on the beach, the sun caress your moisturized skin and gives you the energy for the crazy summer nights… Well, from the last summer, will come some unseen sets of pictures, the first episode is dedicated to Mercado de San Miguel, a fresh-food market in center of Madrid. Those pictures were taken on June, 5th 2010. Enjoy fresh aphrodisiac oysters with a glass of white wine, it’s in the spirit of Mercado de San Miguel.
