Saved by the Rain Gods – first episode

It’s a miracle how I could go out yesterday and not get wet by the rain. It was a shady day with some scattered showers and few times of rest; I used one of this quiet moments to get a walk and take some new photos. I was dressed with some fur and suede boots, which was pretty risky, but, in the final, everything went fine and I returned home without getting touched by the ruthless rain.

The Nature tolerates the artificial.

Do you like the green color ? Especially in the rainy season, when the winter is approaching and all the nature is shutting down the shell of life and goes into a low consumption stage, someone dressed in green, walking on the gray cold asphalt, surrounded only by brown dead leafs and dark brown undressed trees, is an uncommon appearance. I was that zombie, that green pulsating life in the middle of a decaying windy universe; me, with my steps I gave a meaning for the dying rug composed by all those rotten vegetal cells. The nature accepted me, green, artificial, merciless stepping on the grass…and managed to integrate me in its entrails… This is life, it comes and goes, cell by cell from nature to nature. This is what we are, with our green artificial coats. We are so proud for so small achievements (like the green coat), but we are unable to see that we’re made of dust and we can be blown by a nature’s wind gust. When we understand that, it’s too late.

The Nature tolerates artificial. The Nature tolerates us. But this is a good thing, don’t you think ? Let’s get happy now and see the pictures. I was a little influenced by this rainy day (another one!) but, basically, I’m a cheerful person, so let’s see that green coat and my smile 🙂

Parque Pablo Picasso – fourth part

In the fourth part I changed my clothes and makeup. And also the weather’s day was different, much more colder with a little sun only (was in the afternoon). Anyway, after the success of the Parque Pablo Picasso post I decided to come back there and take another shots. This time, due to coldness in the atmosphere I only stayed for half hour and I was freezing. This is what I do for you, my dear readers. Let’s see the pictures!

Night shots

I enjoy mostly the day, the sun and the heat, but pictures made during the night or the sunset have something special. It’s because of the new perspectives that jump in when the sun is not anymore on the sky and the street lighting is on. The eyes have another glow in the dark, and the buildings are covered in mystery. The shadows play like an unknown dance: here looks like a gargoyle waits to scare you, next some hilarious shape is formed… But, of course, even if the night shots are taken with much more difficulty, it worth the effort. Enjoy some of my best night photos…and remember:
