Saved by the Rain Gods – second episode

And now, the second part of the “Saved by the Rain Gods” adventure 🙂 . I couldn’t decide to put all the pictures in one big post, because there were too many photos so I split it in two. Don’t expect the third episode, hehehe, no, this is the last one. But Parque Pablo Picasso offers a good support for taking pictures, especially in the winter when it’s raining, it’s windy and cold – its near location and very structured architecture: stone, concrete, steel and green trees, grass, colorful flowers on the skyscrapers background, transform  the park in a good shooting studio. When the Rain Gods are soft-hearted, of course.

Saved by the Rain Gods – first episode

It’s a miracle how I could go out yesterday and not get wet by the rain. It was a shady day with some scattered showers and few times of rest; I used one of this quiet moments to get a walk and take some new photos. I was dressed with some fur and suede boots, which was pretty risky, but, in the final, everything went fine and I returned home without getting touched by the ruthless rain.

Parque Pablo Picasso – fourth part

In the fourth part I changed my clothes and makeup. And also the weather’s day was different, much more colder with a little sun only (was in the afternoon). Anyway, after the success of the Parque Pablo Picasso post I decided to come back there and take another shots. This time, due to coldness in the atmosphere I only stayed for half hour and I was freezing. This is what I do for you, my dear readers. Let’s see the pictures!

Parque Pablo Picasso – third part

The park is in the Central-North area of Madrid, near Santiago Bernabeu Stadium and close to Plaza de Lima, between Paseo de La Castellana and Calle Orense. It’s in the financial/offices part of Madrid (you can feel the smell of money), with a lot of skyscrapers, stone, concrete and glass. Oh, yes, and some gardens a cat and me.

Parque Pablo Picasso – second part

The weather was so good, the sun caressing my skin, the wind absent… but something was missing… I turned into a very philosophical mood, thinking of stupid things like “the meaning of life”, “the suffering limit” etc. Can you switch me into the real world again ? Maybe I don’t want that. But let’s not get too much in this mood, at least we still can see the beauty of life in a bird, a flower or a butterfly. We can think that everything around is cosmic dust materialized in a nice or disgraceful form. Sitting on a stone bench with islands of flowers around gives you magnificent telluric feelings.
